It's MUSIC UPDATE TIME
So, I don't have any new bands to spiel about on here, sadly, but I will just post a couple of songs from some of the bands I am currently listening to everyday, and probably will continue to be up until a long time from now.
HERE WE GO:
You guys remember Kodaline?
Yeah, well they are putting out a new album soon, and this is one of their newest songs!
And good news that I just got moments ago!- Kodaline are coming to The Fete, which is where I saw Civil Twilight for the first time. So, I'm going to be seeing them in October, as well as Phoenix and Franz Ferdinand
Freaken busy October, though. There's still two other concerts that I'm sadly not going to in that month. Geesh.
And you must all know who MGMT is! This is their newest song, as well, if you haven't already seen it. Their new album is coming out sometime in September, and no tour dates for me yet :c
...Then there's The Killers. I have been listening to them SO darn much, lately. And this song is absolutely spectacular!- especially this performance (which I saw on DVD the other night).
The next 3 videos are entire concerts. I watched these all last night and flew into a black hole of emotion. They are all fabulous in their own way. Now, I'm not expecting any of you to watch every single one, especially if they're not your taste. I'll just recommend a couple of songs from each...
FIRST we have James Blunt! He totally took me off guard in this performance. I mean, HE FRICKEN CROWD SURFED!! (Sorry for spoiling it..) BUT YEAH
I recommend: Carry You Home [starts around 16 minutes]; Same Mistake [starts around 45 minutes]; So Long Jimmy [starts around 1 hour and 1 minute]; then if you want to see him crowd surf, just listen to the song after So Long Jimmy.
SECOND we have Phoenix! This is just a pretty basic, but awesome performance.
I recommend: Trying To Be Cool/Drakkar Noir [starts around 20:30]; Armistice [starts around 29 minutes].
AND LASTLY we have Franz Ferdinand! This performance was MIND-BLOWING!! I mean, it's Glastonbury, what do you expect?
I recommend the entire concert, actually. I can't choose songs out of the setlist for you guys to watch xD
THAT IS ALL. (Gosh, why do I always post so much?)
Hope you guys enjoy at least some of this stuff
