They're just trying to make kids get better grades so they can become an A school and get more funding for stupid shit like the senior prom when it should be spent on better things like redoing the cafeteria that's falling apart or taking care of the major problem with the drama room (fifty three people in one room meant for twenty-two...ugh.)
But yeah. They're just trying to raise grades and make themselves look good. So you sacrifice the education of hundreds upon hundreds of students. Oh well, as long as we have money to spend on cat food, right?
Oh, and I went on virtual counselor. Out of about 650 fellow classmates, I am around 150 in class rank.
I have a 2.6 unweighted GPA.
This is saddening.

WISDOM: Found an amazing store called Ardene's that has all their summer clothes on sale for a ridiculous amount off (basically i can get three pairs of shorts for twelve bucks when each pair was originally twenty-five ). I also found this nice grey scarf :yesey: Now this begs the question: should I wear it Sherlock-style or just loop it loosely and tie a knot at the very end? Decisions decisions. I also bought a nice necklace at the Biodome (zoo) the other day for nine bucks that is just begging to be engraved. So naturally, I traced the orbis epsilon on paper and tried to get the jewelry store to engrave it on the end of the necklace (the charm looks a bit like the thing that goes on dog collars - that round name tag, except it's thicker). They're not open today :XD: Sorry for being so girly with this shit. Just a bit excited to go school shopping (i needed new clothing). On a slightly less girly note, the local art store charges 249 dollars for a box of 48 copic markers. wut. I can get them on Amazon for 35. edit: Yes, I have been watching Sherlock. So far, I get the hype. Fucking amazing show :yesey:

Sammeth: Don't you just "love" it when schools spend their money on the things that are not very important compared to the things that are crucial to have fixed? Yeah. I have to deal with it too -__- It really bothers me when schools do that. Basically that exact same situation happened to my school, and many students have gotten upset over the past couple of years. eh. Oooh, I love stores like that I don't come across them often, sadly, but good for you for finding one :3 And that sounds epic You should totally get that engraved, if you are able to! I haven't watched Sherlock yet, but I might if I'm ever pushed to the limit. I mean, I don't hate it, or the idea that the show has a huge fan club, but it doesn't really seem like a show I would get into. I do think it has a good plot, however :3

Yep. Good thing we're getting a halfway decent principal this year. My school used to be fun until six years ago. That's when it's terrible reputation caught up and bit it in the arse...again. For nine years before 2007, my school was actually a decent place to go. Oh well. Me too :yesey: You see, in Canada, kids aren't shopping for summer clothes for school, they're shopping for fall and winter. I have the advantage, as they're getting rid of their summer inventory and Florida pretty much has one season year-round (did you guess yet?). Yes I shall, when I go for my school clothes. I'll take a picture and post it here. Yes, it had a good plot So far, it seems cool enough. I mean, a nine million dollar hair accessory? Count me in. WISDOM: This guy must have been drunk or something upon recording this. Or maybe he really did go insane. Whatever, it's still funny (especially since the guy is like twenty-something).

I've heard that my new principal is going to be good, but that could always be a lie. I guess I'll never know until I meet her myself. My high school used to be decent before my sister was a freshman. Apparently ever since her class came, they've changed the schedule and principal every year. It just keeps getting worse, I guess. Ahh, cool. (I've always wanted to go to Canada, just saying. I wanna go to Cole Harbor and visit Sidney Crosby's family... because that is just so normal of me to do.) I will also be shopping for fall and winter clothes, but I don't really mind because I love sweaters :3 they are all I live for... and music. And that video My favorite part is when "Debby" can't fit inside of the car and her head is just hanging out  ** also, forgot to mention, Sidney Crosby is mate #28. yup.

*slow clap for Haley's new mate* Welcome to the party. Well, as i'm entering high school this year, i've heard some things about teachers and such from the upperclassmen, but nothing horrible yet. I've got my fingers crossed.

Well, it could be a band member from an opening band that I have not heard of yet... Because I'm seeing Phoenix for sure, so I could grow a fancy for one of the opening band's band members (I actually know the opening band though; it's The Vaccines ) but for Franz Ferdinand (I will most likely be going. I keep bugging my dad about it), I don't know of the opening band, yet. It could be anyone, really, though!

WISDOM: When on Amazon, buy a few big things rather than a bunch of little things. Trust me. You'll end up paying fourty bucks in shipping for two posters and a bunch of art stuff Better to buy big things. At least the shipping cost would make sense. And my watercolours will take twenty days to show up...

I always try to get stuff that has the free shipping over $25 deal. And then try to get several things at once if one item is less than $25.
