Hello guys

Sorry that I haven't been on very recently; I have started SCHOOL.

My first day was scary and I was probably even more nervous than a Freshmen, but I survived. In order to make good first impressions, and make new friends from the start, I had to be very happy and sociable. It was very hard to act that way considering I am the opposite of those things, but I have to say: I was quite successful.

Now, I won't give you a whole novel about my first 3 days (like how I usually do with concerts), but I just thought I'd fill you guys in on what classes I am taking, how I like those classes and the teachers teaching them, and a couple major events...

I am taking:

- Geometry Honors: Full of Freshmen and only 3 other Sophomores, but I like it. The Freshmen are so nice and they do not intimidate me, so I feel like I can always just talk to them. The teacher is amazing and funny.

- Spanish 3 Honors: I hate this class. Everything about it: I hate. Well, maybe with the exception that I love the language, but everything else is stupid. The other students are stuck-up, judgmental, and/or too awkward. They make me feel uncomfortable the entire time. The teacher is the worst teacher in the world. She had a thing out for my older sister, and now has something against me. (She puts her worst students in the front row, dead center. I sit there. My sister sat there. My friend sat there. IT'S CRAZY.) I HAD A PRESENTATION THE 2ND DAY OF SCHOOL. WHAT THE FLIPPING HELL?? I don't know HOW I am supposed to survive that class.

Gym: I have it during my study period (or AO as my school refers to it). I hate the class. I miss my old gym class that I had last year. There are too many juniors (they were sophomores last year, obviously) in it, and I hate them all. Seriously. In my old gym class, there weren't any sophomores (at the time). Also, there's a junior who is in my Spanish class that is in my gym class, and we have a super weird relationship. I could explain, but that would take forever. So, I'll just say: It's really bad for me.

English: I actually really like this class. The kids don't bother me so much, and I have a couple friends. The teacher is very sweet and funny.

Creative Writing: I LOVE this class!! I have all of my sister's friends, who are my friends, in that class. They are really funny and easily brighten my mood. The teacher is very passionate about literature and writing, which I absolutely adore about him. Also, he is HILARIOUS. I never thought a teacher could make me laugh just as much as my sister. As for assignments, I have one already, and I have to write a bad story. It's harder than I thought it would be. But the second part of the assignment is to make it into a good story. I'm planning on writing about my mate Alex Kapranos (from Franz Ferdinand) and his infatuation for beets. Tasty, isn't it?

US History Honors: This school year has made me hate history. A majority of the students had the teacher already, so they're all comfortable around him. I don't like the students because of this, and also because they are too happy. I don't sit next to my friends. I've always hated the teacher. In Freshmen year, when I first saw him, I just didn't like him. I didn't even know him at all, but I knew I wouldn't have liked him anyway. And now I have him as a teacher. He jumps all over the place when talking, asks the most complicated and confusing questions, puts you under pressure, writes really small on the board, has the students sit really close to each other, and has the seating arrangement screwed up so that nobody can actually see the board. And yet EVERYBODY loves him. Except for me. I'm actually considering switching out of this class.

Chemistry Honors: I was afraid of this class, but once I was in it, I was fine. I have my science-buddies from last year, which is fantastic! The other students kind of get on my nerves, but I can manage. The teacher is new, and very Jewish might I add, so that just makes her cooler in my opinion. I haven't known any Jews except for my elementary school friend that moved, so. She's really nice and funny from what I know of her so far. Out of the 3 days we had of school so far, she was only there the first day because of her religion. Apparently there was a Jewish holiday, so she had to be absent for the 2 other days.


But that's it.

My school year is going to be stressful, but I am going to try my best here.

At this moment, I'm having trouble with Geometry homework. Could any of you guys lend some help if you have a bit of time? It would really be appreciated :3

I'm learning about planes and lines, which is pretty simple. But the questions on the worksheet my teacher gave me are more difficult than I expected. I asked my sister, and she couldn't help me, and I even looked in the book, but that did nothing...

So, I'm kind of a lost case right now :c


EDIT:
I talked to my friend who is in my Geometry class and she was having problems too, but she found the answer key online. I copied that down and then tried to make sense of the answers.

I understood a little bit, but hopefully when the teacher EXPLAINS what it is we have to do, then I'll know what I'm doing.

I've helped a couple people from the board out so I'm open too.

I used to like shapes and stuff in math. Then 3D shapes were introduced and fucked it all up.
