sorry, that was kind of immature to say. I know it's a very serious situation, and it's especially vital to me because I live about an hour away from Boston. I don't know who to blame, it could have been anyone. It could have been someone from our own country, or it could have been someone from an enemy country- a terrorist. I don't know. I really feel terrible though, because people I knew from my school were there, and as far as I know, they weren't hurt, luckily. But it's just scary to think that they could have been hurt. My best friend's mum actually does a lot of marathons, so I hope that she wasn't there in Boston today, and got hurt. That would be terrible

The Boston Marathon attacks. I'm surprised I didn't hear about it at school.

Schools tend to not bother with news like that. Not like they don't care, but I guess it's not worth worrying the students that will find out later, especially if you're on the other side of the country.
Only time I ever remember schools announcing an attack entirely was during 9/11.

Nobody at my school even KNEW about what the hell happened until school was already let out. Otherwise my Debate teacher would have immediately told us.
I'm just wondering what the hell kind of twisted mind it takes to plan this stuff out...and actually go through with it.

And I'm hearing a bunch of stuff going around (mainly between the teachers) that: "You think it was North Korea?"
What. As far as I am aware they don't even have a legitimate suspect yet.

There's no way this would be North Korea. NK aren't terrorists. If they were to do anything it would be a formal attack (I use formal in war context, not saying it would be good, but just that if NK attacked it would be obvious).

Well whoever did the bombing might have also put the bombs in the JFK Library. That's kind of a symbolic place in the US.. I can see why people may think it is North Korea for this reason.
but yeah, I don't think it was North Korea, so much. I don't have any idea, really, who it could have been :c

Well the point isn't that North Korea wouldn't attack a symbolic place, but that they're not terrorists who would secretly place bombs around the city. They would go in attacking making themselves be known and would do it with a lot more strength than some strategically placed explosives.
At the moment no one knows who it is. I do hope something comes out.

Right, yeah. That makes sense.
I don't know, I just feel terrible about it all.. A lot of people do. It's just people I know very well and are quite dear to me were there and could have been injured or killed. It's scary.
I just hope they find who did it, soon.
And also, I'm glad Muse have said something about it. I think it's so sweet of them to care :')

I mean, that's how disappointing some people are becoming. You want to turn into Jesus's personal football because it's all just too much insanity to handle.

Em: Apparently Chris said something really sweet about how he feels bad for Boston, the injured, the killed, the families affected, etc. My sister found it on Facebook from a Muse fan page. yeah
